My Grandparents lived in Santa Cruz on Freemont Ave. My sister and I would walk to the Boardwalk every day. We worked as maids at a motel that was on the cliff right off the train tracks.
We met a lot of the local kids and became friends with them. Everyone had such a great time surfing and just hanging out on the Boardwalk. We spent every summer in Santa Cruz from the time we were 14 to age 18. I LOVE Santa Cruz to this day. My daughter came here with and now my grandchildren come. Thank you for keeping the boardwalk up.
