My family and I came to Santa Cruz every single summer. We stayed at the hotel right across the street, but we spent our whole summer on the the beach and Boardwalk. I was a baby and my sisters were 4 and 5 years of age. I grew up on the beach. I remember as I got older I would get on the giant roller coaster and when it stopped I would run right back in line at least 5 times before my Mom would say enough. I am now 48 yrs old and this summer I am able to take my kids to the Boardwalk for the very first time. After 27 years I will be able to be a kid again for the day. The Boardwalk has always been my home and I am so excited to share it with my kids.
