Dipper Operator, 1977

I worked at the Boardwalk for two seasons. That’s when we worked split shifts day and night for the summer. I made my way up to operating the Dipper and was part of that elite crew. How fun those times of operator comradery were and stories of ghosts and legendary past operators. I married my Dipper coworker. Launched the first logs of the log ride too, but Dipper has always had my heart.
