A 1948 photo of the Giant Dipper shows three people per row! We don’t have a record of who these group of boys are, but my guess is that it could be a group of newspaper delivery boys. A guest told us that in the 1940s an East Bay newspaper brought groups to the Boardwalk every year as a reward for their work.
