The Boardwalk’s Looff Carousel turns 100 next year! This 1911 photo of the Boardwalk’s oldest ride shows the rocking chairs (there were a hundred of them) where mothers could rest and enjoy the music while keeping an eye on their kids. The Ruth band organ can be seen in the center of the ride.
