In the 1950s a local model named Marilyn Matthews appeared on this billboard which was seen all over California. Marilyn’s image can also be seen on a mural in the Boardwalk’s staff parking lot on Beach Street. Marilyn still lives in the area and loves to visit the Boardwalk!
