Cutting up in 1936 are “Big Joe” Gleason, a member of the Water Carnival comedy diving team; accordionist Dave Ferrari, who was in his ninth year of furnishing music for the Water Carnivals, playing tunes like “The Daring Young Man on the Flying Trapeze” and “Asleep in the Deep”; and Don “Bosco” Patterson of Slide for Life fame.
