Though my son has been to the Boardwalk several times in his short year of life, rarely has there been an opportunity for him to walk around since he is clumsy and still very small. On a particularly hot day in September, I brought him to the beach to cool down, and the Boardwalk was nearly deserted. He was so interested in all the colors, and was so excited to run around! He was more interested in the actual Boardwalk than the beach!
I grew up in Santa Cruz, so I have always been excited to share the Boardwalk with my children. This was his first walk on the Walk, and there will be many more as he grows up!
