Grandma moved over to California, Santa Clara in 1940’s from Lansing Michigan. She had never seen or had nice beaches or weather before so while as a teen growing up she lived at Santa Cruz on the beach and at the Boardwalk. Her favorite ride was the Dipper and swore it was not safe but she loved it! One of her last wishes was riding the Dipper before she got too old and could. Unfortunately she passed away in 2020 and never got the chance to ride it as she wanted. Santa Cruz was one of her favorite places to go growing up!
