Our Parents were married in 1938. Their 50th wedding anniversary (photo) was 1988. Our Father passed in 1992 and our Mother in 1994. Couldn’t have had better Parents. Three children, grandchildren and greats too. You can see by their Santa Cruz photo that they were light hearted and optimistic, positive thinkers. Our Dad always said: “Don’t worry; everything is going to work out.” Well, he never said whether it was going to work out good or bad, but it always did. My Dad said he was the richest man in the world: rich in family and friends. He was a machinist with Westinghouse and our Mom had daycare for fifty years. Hopefully, my siblings and I are honoring their legacy. All of our children were able to spend special time camping with my Parents, so they all have the best of memories.
