I lived in Santa Cruz from 1965 to 1968; I was playing a lot of softball at the time and my throw was quite accurate. There was a game where full size mannequins traveled along the back of the booth and each one had a hinged can on it’s head. The game was to throw a baseball and knock the can over. I was so good at doing this that on weekends the attendant would give me free balls to show players how easy it was. It really wasn’t but, I got him a lot of business.
