My father grew up in the Menlo Park, and brought his family up there. His favorite thing in the world was swimming in the ocean – the colder the water, the better!
From earliest childhood I remember day trips to Santa Cruz almost every weekend during the summer. It was hard to get Dad off the beach, but I do remember going to the Plunge.
