I took my date named Carol to the Boardwalk for a day of fun. We stopped to play Skeeball so I could win a prize and give the prize to her as a memory of that day. When we decided to redeem them, I had won quite a few tickets. I asked her what prize she wanted. Of all the girls I have ever dated she said something that to this day still warms my heart. She responded why don’t we divide the tickets by two, that way we can each have a prize to remember this day with. Although I do not have the physical prize of that day, I do have the memory of that unselfish act on that day that has so far lasted fifty-five years. Thank you Carol for that very special act of unselfish kindness.
