My early days

I was born in Salt Creek Northern Ca. and my family moved to Soquel. I was 9 when Pearl Harbor happened. I went to Santa Cruz High as Soquel High was a dairy at that time. When I turned 17, I joined the Marines. I spent many wonderful summers prior to that at the Santa Cruz beach area!
Every summer my friends and I would talk my older sis into taking us to the “BIG CITY” – the beach and Boardwalk. Sometimes we had to walk the 4 miles home, but it was always worth it!
