I have very fond memories of Santa Cruz. My parents owned a restaurant in San Francisco and the Boardwalk was our family get-away. My husband and I would later go to the Boardwalk almost every other weekend as a way to get away from the fog in Daly CIty. One Sunday my husband asked me to marry him while sitting and enjoying an ice cream. I will always love the boardwalk. I have since moved up north and it’s hard to come down, but I really want to bring my children to such a magical place.
