My great uncle and aunt lived in Felton, CA. and our family often came to Boardwalk. My uncle used to go out on the pier and catch crab while we we all at Boardwalk going on the rides. We loved going on the Giant Dipper rollercoaster and hold our hands up all the way. I wrote a song about it called Summer Days. Ironically some music people discovered my old music and one of the songs that they chose to put on a double LP is “Summer Days”. You can listen to it on YouTube under Morrison Kincannon Beneath The Redwoods. The song Beneath The Redwoods, Seashell, A Few Minutes of Peace, Freely, are all about the great scenery of Santa Cruz and the surrounding areas. It’s a wonderful memory.
