My family would go to the Boardwalk for a day of fun every year. This particular year my friend Lisa and I were allowed to go off by ourselves and have fun until meeting up with the family later in the day..and we were only 8 years old! Things were different back in those days.
We decided we wanted to try and break a world record and keep going on the Giant Dipper. We went on it 21 times in a row and felt like we had broken a record! Lisa and I both remember that day with such fondness and it’s a wonderful childhood memory.
